HOW CAN YOU AVOID PROBLEMS IN THE FUTURE ?
Regular maintenance is the most effective way to prevent unexpected emergencies. We suggest flushing the water heater tank at least once a year. Sediment can build up in the bottom of the tank, speeding up corrosion and deterioration. Regular tank flushing keeps the tank clean and sediment buildup to a minimum.

During routine maintenance we will also test the temperature and pressure relief valve. The valve should make a gurgling sound as it releases water; if it does not respond after lifting the lever, it needs to be replaced.
